I want to know if the downpipe is 2.75in or bigger I'm hoping to join the 300whp club but my tuner said I need at least 3in downpipe. and he also said that the hondata heat shield is no good for boost is this true???

 

I didnt say its was "no good for boost" I said sense I had a problem with it blowing out and water going in to number 4 cyl I wont use one again..I use them all the time on allmotor..but for turbo I do not trust them..

also you said the downpipe was 2.25 and I said 300 whp was going to be a no go..2.75 would do the trick..you have a dead stock motor that you are going to run on shitty CA pump gas..you cant expect much..but you got to remember..the better the flow of the exhaust (3 inch dp) the more power that can be made on the same boost.
