Honda does not make any undersized bearings. If you have your crank cut, you cannot use Honda bearings.

honda is the way to go . Its the best bearing to use. If not then there is some alternatives but not as good as factory.

Man, I don't know. Clevite makes some top notch bearings...don't know about the ones for Hondas but their domestics are what I used in most V8s I built.

the important factor here is they make good v8 stuff... that doesnt mean they make good 4 cyl/import stuff... its a whole differant world... many people tend to disagree... but its true...

OEM!! However I dont see how using ARP head studs will cause a spun a bearing. Spun bearings are usually caused by lack of oil, either oil pump went bad, or low oil.

opps my bad! I thought you said arp head studs. But in any event, most after market rods are using arp ROD bolts anyways. Crower, pauter, eagle and most others use ARP ROD Bolts! So I realy dont see how your bearings went because of the ARP ROD bolts.

i really dont see how bearing can be affected by the rod bolt. But the only thing i can think of is if the rod bolt came loose or something if not torqued properly.

But stock bolts have been know to loosen under extreme conditons, ie LS/Vtec motors... which used to be one their major downfalls in the early 90's. ARP 'single handedly' saved the future of LS/vtec conversions !
