Sure I could walk up to him today and say "hey Mike, you owe Dominic $10K..".. and? He's just gonna look at me like "Mmm kay..". For $10k, you need to come down here yourself and apply pressure, legaly or through any other means you deem neccesary. Don't leave it up to somebody esle to get your money, afterall, this isn't $50 we're talking about.

Damn, I haven't been on H-T for awhile so I don't know all of your stories... I hope he's not ******* people over but it kinda sounds like it... He probably spent the money to start a new motor since I heard he somehow hydrolocked his latest turbo motor with a blown headgasket snapping the aluminum rods (I personally didn't think coolant could leak in that fast, possibly a cracked sleeve?) maybe you will get your parts. we hope you do. but NO ONE should have to go through this like you and the others are.........

 

Just goes to show you that a better price isnt always better. That is why I dont mind paying a litte more for great customer service and product. Some of the better people I recomend are wiredspeedlab, importparts.com(sometimes), arturbo, full-race, earl and many others. All these guys have a good reputation and take all my money.

That is true. Even if he is moving which makes no sense since he just did. How hard would it be for him to be in contact with his customers? I mean if he doesn't have computer access I am sure he knows someone with one, or even a public library if at all cost. And the phone always getting disconnected, he can always give his cell phone number, which he probably has one. Too many unsatisfied customers on here, hope it works out somehow.

 

You aint going to get nothing from him! I bought a turbo off him that i never received. 3 months went by and nothing, so i had a friend of mine go by his place in florida and it was empty and the phone line disconnected!

 

$10,000.00 We are talking US currency right? I have stuck up for Mike in the past but $10,000.00 is allot of money to not hear about in over three months. I'm still not going to say anything but Mike if you read this jump on these threads

The worse part is Dominic Itr is not from the United states. I'm for certain he is taking legal action on this matter.

If you guys are serious, you should do the following-

1. put someone in charge of tallying who he ripped off and for how much.
2. Find a lawyer local to where his shop is and bring him the info. You can either search in a phone book or on http://www.martindale.com
3. Take him to court and win.

You should all individually file police reports as well and make sure you have documentation for everything. Obviously he has no case, but you need to have everything together to prove yours.
You may not get everything back, because lawyers don't work for free. But you will get the satisfaction of knowing justice has been served and that he won't suddenly get into DSMs and rip of a bunch of other people.

Sucks to lose out on $10K USD. I lost $1,100 from online deals. Never again! ....

 

Mike finally responded to my emails. He Apologizes then acts like an ******* in the same paragraph. Anyways here is a copy of his email. This is how he treats customers who spend 10k

"Dominic, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. your order is partially complete. I cannot full refund a block that is custom order. What would you like to cancel AND WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE SHIPPED OUT?? how would you like the parts shipped??"

im sorry , but **** him . he seemed cool before, but thats bullshit . If i made a mistake like that, which i wouldnt i keep in close contact with my custs. But even in tha case i didnt i wouldnt be a smart *** . thats horsecrap.

I have had a bad experience with mike myself but not to this extent and have kept to myself. What I want to know, is why are people still defending him in all of these posts? He might be a cool person, but he sucks as a businessman. He should be banned.
People should give their business to the honest people on the board like arturbo, camp1320.com, full-race, lightning motorsports, flamenco-t and titan motorsports amongst others.

he also owes me 4600 aus dollars ..im also not from the US and am having a hard time contacting him etc...email and ring continuously but no reply. The money was paid to him in early sep[tember 2003!!!

He also gave me the same excuse that he was moving shop. When i asked for my money back cos it seemed sus and i heard bad **** about him he gave me excuses like i cant refund you for axles because no one will buy them however i contacted Driveshaftshop and they said they have a refund policy on new items and its even on their website. All i want is my mooooolah back mike!!!
