Audi K03 turbo
Hf Manifold w/adaptor plate
TurboXS BOV
EVO3 FMIC
TurboXS MBC

Think of a really tiny t turbo and you'll have a k03. They're smaller than a t25. I'd stay away. You'd make maybe 200whp. Probably a little bit less.

200 is what i was shooting for. I plan on upgrading piece by piece, once its running. I just wanted something decent to start with.

another question: Should i run the AFC Hack?? What problems might i have with this setup??

have you been to trackmasters in huntsville, if i were you i would get hondata and get Art over there at trackmasters to tune it...and my opinion on that turbo is that its way too small you will want more and you wont be able to get it with that...good luck

Yea ive heard alot about Art, as well as Richard. I def plan on going to them as they are about the only place we got around. As for the turbo, im just going to run it til i get some more money saved up, and i plan on upgrading to a t3 or something equivalent. Thanks for the advice/comments.

I'd just save my money and wait or at least get a gt25 there are a lot of those around.

The K03 is completely worthless. My dad used to have an A4 1.8t, and those things just plain suck. Get a t25 or a t3....like they've said, there are plenty of them around, and practically anything's better than a K03.

If you want something small and cheap, go with a dsm t25. got mine for $75. Plus if yea ever wanna go bigger, you can pick up something like a 16g.

Yea, Richard works at Trackmasters with Art... and they are the only place around that has any idea of whats goin on.

Welll.... seeing as how i already have this turbo, and i have a limited budget right now, this will work fine, til i get the motor together, in the car, and running. After that i will evaluate my setup and upgrade what i feel needs it.

I just wanted to know what to expect, for ***** and giggles, since i will be upgrading eventually anyways...

Thanks guys

So are you gonna buy a new manifold when your ready to upgrade? There's not much to choose from with that flange, and there spendy.

The HF?? I can have a shop here machine out any part i want. All i gotta do is draw it up. So technically i could run that mani forever (which i wont), with just an adaptor plate connecting it to the turbo. But no, ill probably go with a LoveFab when i get the $$, just cause they are Pimperish...

no idea on a d series motor, but the ko3 sport variant can make over 200whp in a 1.8 20v vag motor. mine dynoed 222whp 260wtq with chip mbc 3"tb etc. the non sport ko3's have shittier ooutput probably limited to the high 100s range.

Honestly, anywhere above 180ish is good for me, to begin with. As i upgrade, i will expect higher numbers, but this is my first Turbo build, and i want to crawl before i walk...
