I picked up a turbonetics 50trim t3 to4e. 63ar from my brother-in-law last week and never heard much of turbonetics really. Kinda curious where does it starts to spool, peak boost etc. Is turbonetics comparable to the standards of garrett and precisions? Any inputs on this topic?

It will be paired up with d16z6 built block.

It's a good turbo... especially on a d-series. Use it.
