Does anyone out there run the older Apex AFC? Looks like a small turbo timer almost with a led readout thing and a ****? Wondering if anyone out there uses it to control some injectors. They look to be cheap and would be a nice fuel setup to ditch my FMU when paired with some cheap 450s off a dsm.

With 450cc injectors I don't think the older ones will work, since they can only compensate +-30 % you'll need more than that to get it running right with those injectors.

Will it work if he has an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and turns the pressure way down?

 

that I couldn't tell you. sorry thats the extent of my knowledge with the fuel setups lol.
