Default Anyone know of a god Tach other than the monsterous Autometer one?

I have an h23 so highest im goin is liek 7200 rpm.......if that. My tach is off a bit and i would liek to get an accurate tach which looks tastefully. But most impoirtantly function over form.

The autometer ones r huge and yells steal me. Also i dont need a 10,000 rpm max. If anyoen knwos where i can get one that looks decent, is accurate, and has an rpm between 0-7500 lemme know!

Apexi makes a really nice one, kinda pricey and has a stupid high redline, but very good quality and nice features to boot.

You also can get it in Black face. Shift light sold separately.
This tach is dead on accurate. The rpm signal has to be feed straight from the ecu harness. Not everyone hooked up the rpm signal there.

I've seen an Autometer one that was about 3 inches and fit inside a holder. It wasn't that monster bling bling tach with the shift light. I agree...that tach attracts way too much attention.

Yea, i deff dont need anymore attention for my car. I was thinkin maybe sumthin i can fit in fron of the guage cluster, or just something smaller, but still easily readable. Eh......maybe ill have to just settle for one of these.

Sounds liek ther Apexi one is pretty accurate. Can teh same be said for these other ones liek the pivot and maaaybe the autometer?

The Pivot was really accurate, but you know as well as I do people will steal anything around here. Not everyone fears the turtle.

Yea, i dont keep the car here though. I keep it at my rents house who by the way live in a gated community with a security guard, inside a garage, which is inside a house with a lot of guns.....for ya thieves on HT.

My first tach was an Autometer Monster tach. It was 500 rpm off. Not much options except for the shift light and peak hold. Didn't like it very much so I sold it.
My second tach was a Pivot tach. Small but shift light was too big imo. The face changes color when shift light flashes but it gets old. It come with a little box to adjust rpm and I hate how I have to mount that separately in the car. It have peak hold. Have no other options. Rpm was still alittle off so I sold it again.
Now I have the Apex-I tach. Tach is big, shift light is small. Very accurate. Two activiation for shift light. Have rpm play back, forgot how long it records and have peak hold. No external box required. This is my favorite tach. Elegent, compact, simple. Very easy to read.
