Default Anyone know about these gauges??

Well, I'm looking for a boost, oil and air/fuel gauge. I really like the Defi guages and the Autometer C2 series gauges but those cost an arm and leg. Too much!

I preferrably would like white face gauges that glow blue at night. I found some guages called "Glow Shift" gauges at

(click on link below)

http://www.glowshiftgauges.com/gsboost.htm

and the prices are really cheap but sometimes you get what you pay for. I'd hate to buy something like then when I actually get it, it looks like ****. I don't what to have any regrets nor do I want to waste my money.

Glow Shift also has a tinted series which seem pretty cool but I've never actually seen how they really look.

So I'd like to know if anyone has Glow Shift gauges in their car or if you might know of anyone else who has these gauges in their car and what you think about them.

Also:

If so, how do they actually look?

If you had to buy buy new guages would you buy them again?

Thanks!

R1 Makes a very similar guage that is very high quality.

However they are kinda hard to find, and they don't make every one that most people want.

Sorry to stray from the topic - never seen that particular brand b4. Good luck - bump

Default Searching for boost, air/fuel and oil pressure gauges.............

I'm looking for nice white faced indiglo gauges that don't cost like $125 or more a piece. I've been searching and searching and still haven't come up with anything else.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

I have 3 AC autotechnic gauges sitting in the box, that are white faced, and can glow blue at night. They are the water temp, oil, and voltmeter, with the polished water sensor sender, I am needing to sell them (all 4 pieces for $130)

If you have the money, i would go with autometer. I went to a local store here in town and they were selling one boost gauge for $250.

Yeah, I know. Those gauges can be pretty expensive. Especially the C2 autometer gauges. If I had the money I would most likely go with Defi.....the ones you can change like 7 different colors or something like that. Or C2 autometer. But right now, I just don't have the money.

I'm looking for 3 gauges: a boost gauge, air/fuel and oil pressure gauge. I would end up spending the same if not more to get the gauges I REALLY WANT then I would spend on getting hondata or injectors or even to pay to get my turbo installed. Damn! I really want to get a decent pair of indiglo gauges but I MIGHT end up having to just go with the plain white autometer gauges for now.

Man, it never fails.........Why is it that the things that I really want, end up being the things that usually cost a lot of money???
