Back on topic, we should have the car back on the dyno in the morning to finish testing.

I was just talking to Charles today about doing a K-series kit. It would be really easy to do compared to the B-series kit. I've got a couple of K-motors sitting around, After we get this all worked out I can send one to Charles and see what he thinks it would take.

Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?
I was wondering,
Way back when.....Jackson Racing convinced someone over at Roots/Eaton or whatever to produce a counterclockwise spinning blower.
now that Oscar Jackson is using the Rotrex with his Kraftwerks kits. ..........could someone whom is in contact with Rotrex (or Mr. Jackson) and ask how difficult it would be to do a run of CCW spinning Rotrex's ? Like 10 C38's and 10 C30's or whatever, and just let some experienced honda-tech guys to test them ON A B-SERIES MOTOR.
There would be people lined up to buy a CCW spinning Rotrex Kit for their B-series. I know I would be.
thoughts?

I talked to Oscar Jackson a while ago and he wasn't interested in doing anything for the B-series, just for newer cars.
You don't need a CCW Rotrex blower to do it, just a double-sided belt:

I'd rather have a Roots blower though; it's got a better torque curve. Look at the boost pressure in that link, basically you have negligible boost until over 4000 RPM. I think we were making 15 PSI before 4000 RPM. If you look at the Jackson-Racing/Kraftwerks kits, they are the same way. While the Rotrex blower does give you a more linear torque ramp than a turbo, it still doesn't give you the nice midrange torque that a Roots blower does.

More delays, job and personal stuff came up. It looks like Thursday morning I can get over there.

Havent been keeping up with the thread in a while, but its nice to hear you're about to commence testing again. Its been a roller coaster ride, for sure.

Two dyno pulls and another roller bearing disintegrated. It's almost surreal. I'll get back out there in a couple of days and replace it.

Dyno roller, right? Not anything to do with the car or blower kit? Maybe it's time to change them all!

I would assume if one went bad the other will follow suit shortly thereafter right? Too much torque! Its not used to being snapped around like that charger does.lol

**** roger - you are not having a lot of luck - but as said above - your rig is putting everything through it paces more than most setups and so will have a habit of finding the weakest link. Hope this is the last major setback - good luck.

The dyno has 6 bearings. We replaced four of them and the remaining two failed today. I guess when they go bad, they all go bad at once.

keep up the great work.
quick question, what size is the throttle body inlet and what size is the blower outlet? i thought i read somewhere the throttle body was 90mm, and i assume the other pipiing is 2.5 or 3"?

Inlet is 3.5" and outlet is 3".
It looks like the problem may have been with the car alignment. Hung said that it was hard to hold on to the wheel while making a pull, so Cheeto checked it out and one wheel was way off. He's got it straightened out now, so hopefully we get it back on the dyno Monday and don't break anything else.

I'll head over there in a bit to get started. I had a big quote that needs to be completely reworked come down the pipe this morning, and Sales wants to get the deal signed today, so I'm busy updating the build sheet.
Normally I set my own hours, so I can screw around with car stuff all day and catch up on work at night, but sometimes I have to work during regular work hours.
