anyone encounter boost cut not working on hondata?
i set up my boost cut to hit at 14psi but it doesnt hit the cut. I have hit 20psi with the cut set at 14. Anyone have ideas? I did do it correctly.
never experienced a problem with boost cut not working, are you sure you got a accurate reading on your boost? are you using a boost gauge or like a measurement coming off a electronic controller, like the avcr?
Check the continuity of your wiring and your vacuum setup. You can also configure some solenoids to default to the spring if the electronic boost controller fails. I lost an engine due to a failed EBC
What MAP sensor are you using, and what did you tuner set for boost cust. Keep in mind that you should set your boost controller to protect from overboosting, the hondata should cut but will come back on once the boost is below the cut level.
3 bar map sensor
i set the boost cut at 16 and it was going to (20psi)
so i set it at 12 to see if would stop and it still hit 20 psi

I couldn't tell you why, but I had trouble at the higher boost levels trying to get boost cut to work.
I could get it to work on the lower levels but for somereason every once in a while it wouldn't cut the high ones.
