Anybody using a SSAutochrome T28?
I've seen these turbos on eBay for a while:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1
I've heard all the horror stories about their other Chinese made Super T70 turbos and whatnot, but I see people buying these pretty steadily. I'm just wondering if anybody here is using one and how it is. I'm not really considering buying one, *BUT* they are cheaper than most people want for a used S14 T28, much less an S15 T28(GT28R). If the bearings don't take a giant crap and it makes good power, then it just seems like a very "budget oriented" upgrade for T25 flange manifold users that don't want to drop down over a grand for a turbo.
The specs on there are nonsense, so what's the actual performance.
So stand up anybody that's running an SSAutochrome turbo - I'm sure the flames won't be that bad!
