Anybody using reds w' Eagles?
LS, Eagle rods. I ordered black according to my math and Earls chart. And rod big end measurements from a machine shop that I'm doubting.
Way too tight...I'm down to reds now and getting around .001
Somethings weird here. My damn bore gauge won't go that small so I had to get someone to measure the rods....but they said 1.8910 to 1.8912.
I'm gonna start over, re-check crank, and I guess rods. Don't have my notes right now but the crank journals were in the normal range. And my mains worked ok with the chart...just a little tight with blacks, ordered a brown to re-check with there. Almost ready to just order ACLs.
If I miss my tune date at T1=/self.

Re: Anybody using reds w' Eagles?
I am not using Eagles but I currently use reds on my rods and there perfect for my application(PAUTERS).
you should post your measurements from your rod & main journals and any other info. we need to know to help you. I know buying bearings isn't cheap. a easy $180 for OEM bearings can easy make it to $250+ easily if measurements aren't correct. I posted mine when I needed help. there was something in my math that wasn't correct.
