i rebuilt it and everything, but my motor is currently fubar so it hasnt actually worked yet...

On my setup..I have (4) individual switches that control each piston and rod. Usually, I have all of them in the "ON" position..but when I'm low on gas I turn off cylinders #2 and #3 to conserve what gas I have in my tank until I arrive safely to the nearest gas station.
