or anything similar on a 400-450 setup?

 

I am running a similar intercooler from johnyracecar.com but I am only making 250hp... for 400-450 I wouldnt skimp out on something like that. buy a nice precision core that you know will flow high numbers and come with an actuall cfm rating.

 

JRC's 8inch intercooler is rated at 760cfm i believe, roughly 400-450hp. I have seen them pushed past 400whp.

 

I had a JRC 8", I got rid of it cause my tuner says I need a bar and plate

 

look for a ssac or xoxo intercooler, they will flow very well and will not cause any problems. A lot of people have had success with them.
