I have what i think is an HX35W. It is definately internally wastegated and the compressor housing looks to match up with other HX35's i've seen, but i am unsure about a few things. The exhaust housing is not divided like most newer Holset X-series turbochargers, which is possibly a good thing, but i don't know if that alone makes it a different model. The turbo has never been used (lost car before she got to meet Mister Holset) and was new in 2002. Also, the WG accuator is electronically controlled by a command valve that is attached to the turbo. I have been told that the command valve can be fitted to various controllers to control boost. Is this true? There are no serial plates on the housing which make it a little bit harder to identify. If it would help, i can post some pics later tomorrow. I would appreciate any input.

One more thing: has Holset been involved in any racing development or sponsorship. It's been a while since i've seen their logo on any race cars or trucks. Later
