Eric i would search around a little more , go out of state if needed to make sure its done right. trust me last thing you want is a blown motor. doesnt zdyne have a tuners links site or something ?

As a matter of fact, im pretty sure jeff has a quite a bit of knowledge about tuning Zdyne becuase i dont think he would say he could tune it if he couldnt. However, he has started school again and his tuning will be difficult to come by.

i think he has dabbled with one. again you can do what you wish , but if it was me , i would go to someone who specialized in it.
trust me on this one.

Zydne, like almost all the other speed density aftermarket systems, are all based on the same principle. If you can tune one, you can pretty much tune them all. The only difficult thing is learning the software to the individual systems. I have had about an hour seat time with the Zydne system, its almost essentially like the Hondata system. The only feature I dislike is the lack of tunability over 7xxx rpm range, it interpolates the values over that set rpm limit. I have stopped tuning for a few months in order to focus on my acedemics. There isnt many, if any shops that have support for the Zdyne system that i have found in the tri-state area.

Re: (itr206)
Well I really want boosted-hybrid to tune my car. "I even sent him the Zdyne program so he can play around with it" but he said he was either to busy cause school is starting up again. I have been asking him for months "yes months" but he always seems to be to busy Sigh. Boosted-hybrid seems like he really knows his **** "even if its not with Zdynes" about tuning.
I wanted to have him and my buddy who is very familiar with the software "but does not have access to tune on a dyno" bump heads together and help me out.
I am just hoping boosted could squeeze me in when he gets home in fall to help me out. I went down to Rado's shop in Reading and they dont know what a Zdyne is and didnt even know what a ZC engine is

Re: (CWBETB)
Eric,
you should bring the car down some weekend when you are free and we can put the widband on the car and see what is happening. I know when I had my Zdyne one time the car keeped breaking up if I gave it more then 3/4 throttle and had the RPM's about 6K. I just lived with it for weeks till I decided to try anther fuel/timming map. I first reloaded the Map that I had uploaded and to my suprise that fixed it! Jeff said that maybee the ECU "lost" a few cells and reloading the tune fixed it.

Yea try it on the wideband 1st see where its at.
Im not implying anything , im just saying try to find someoen with experience with Zdyne, thats all you need is problems down the line becuase if Zdyne has quarks with it , that the tuner didnt know about or now how to fix, which = waste of time basically.
im sure anyone on here that knows hondata, aem , ect could get you pretty decent, i just know myse,f i would rather try to find someone that had expertise in it
