Just got done changing this out.
I have never seen this happen before, not have I heard of this happening.
I have always considered the intermediate shaft to be rather stout.
Oh well. So much for that notion.

I saw viren do the exact same thing. On the way back from englishtown last week, I saw the end of the axle in the truck and I asked wtf happend to it. I guess the 600+whp will do that...

not my car, but a turbo itr that im tuning.
broke it at the track today.
its making a decent amount of power, 375whp at like 0.85-1 bar, its real early
and i cant remember jack right now.

 

I did the exact same thing in a 90 Integra with a B16 w/intake and exhaust.

I never thought that would happen. Axles sure, but not the intermediate shaft.

 

my firend did that in his all motor gen 2 integra
it was a bitch to get the broken part out of the ****** trans
we were trying to do this at atco with like no tools. it sucked.
