Re: any supercharged d series (jlacoy82)
I could make like 3-4 nice turbo kits for what the JRSC cost new. Plus turbo's can be upgraded more easily and you can make more power from a snail. From what i heard also that Jackson Racing has horrible customer service if your blower should ever need repair.

Saw the whole Jackson Racing Supercharger kit on Ebay for $1050 with one day left... It was used, but it still had all the original contents to the kit.
I would much rather go Turbocharged though

Re: any supercharged d series (GITWIDIT)
This is my setup and I am in the process of installing:
94 Z6
JRSC stock 6lbs boost
Hondata Manifold gasket
I/H/E
RC 440cc injectors
B&M FPR
Tuning with Uberdata
Thats it engine wise..... I should be putting down about 160-165whp. Thats more than a b16 and ive probably got about 1500 into it.
Now I know ill probably change out after this summer.... either Ill buy a turbo kit or I may just do a GSR or K20 swap. Im more of an all motor kind of guy so Im leaning towards a K20. We'll see what I can do with the JRSC though.

Hehehe I know, I know.... pic is stupid because it says Blown....hehe
Yeah its a little faster than a b16 swap.... well it puts down about 150-155whp... so its almost GSR territory.

Re: any supercharged d series (BS 22)
friend of mine has one on his D series in a hatch with basic bolt ons I/H/E and its still not that fast I would go with the turbo setup there about the same price and so many up grades available and can take it so much further his car can barely beat mine a EG coupe with a LS swap with I/E just to give you a idea of how fast it would be

Re: any supercharged d series (Lmgrcivic)
Your friend cant drive that well.....
Ive seen JRSC D16's run high 14's on stock boost. Your LS doesnt do that unless your not running a LS tranny.

here's my supercharged d16y7....
can't complain, got the charger for $500, but it was missing some brackets. after everything was said and done, and all the misc pieces were bought, it came out to $1000 installed. my friends and i did the installation.

Re: any supercharged d series (cnyej1)
I was thinking off getting a jrsc because I hear they are more reliable than a turbo and less work to keep up on, and my goal is to be in the 13 second range.
