Any SF Bay Area members with a JRSC on a DZ16?
I've been looking into supercharging my 93 civic coupe for a while now, but I haven't seen anyone who even has one yet. Is there anyone one in the SF Bay Area who knows of any shops that have a demo-civic (92-95 preferably with a DZ16 engine) with a JR supercharger bolted on?
If it's not too much to ask, is anyone on the board who has this set-up willing to meet up? Even a B16 in a civic EG and newer would be appreciated. I'm just deciding on whether to SC the stock engine, or do the B16 swap first, then supercharge.
Thanks

Re: Any SF Bay Area members with a JRSC on a DZ16? (Kamikaze-Kart)
I think the popular opinion on here is that the JRSC is not a good choice for most people. I would possibly recommend it for AutoX, because of the down-low torque, but otherwise you will probably be disappointed on the street. ANY turbo kit will be faster and could be put together for cheaper...

perfect! i'm planning on prepping the car for soloII, with the engine work being the last to be worked on. i know there are turbo systems out there with more output, but i also live under the empire of the C.A.R.B., and so only the california-legal turbo kits i've seen have roughly the same output as jackson's (or moss') supercharger.
