Default Any problems with my vented cf hood for Turbo and N/A???

Does anybody know if my vented cf hood safe its vented above the exhaust manifold. I would hate to get rid of it. With this cf vented this way all the hot air goin out. I just bought it 3 days ago too. Hate to blow a lot of money on something thats not safe. This really sucks.... Would I be able to bring it to a machine car wash and be safe?????? Or the manifold will crack (header or turbo manifold) and stuff?? How about on rainy days???? If its parked??? or driven???? I would deeply appreciate everyone feedback on this please Also any other ways to still keep my vented cf hood???? What will happen if manifold cracks????Thanks.

...at the least, I'd go to the local hardware store and buy some sheet aluminum and a pop rivet gun to build a heat shield... let the heat out but keep the water from direct contact with the header...

They do have grills that go over the vents....but lets put it this way dude...WRX STi's and Lancer Evo's both have huge hood vents, and I have yet to hear owners complaining about rain water...but I would keep you car covered when parked

Damn thats vey nice MiraiZ nice ride. My vent are kinda sorta like yours but not the Mugen style its just one big vent almost like the Mugen but with one big vent and yes it has grill also. How did you manage to get rain and stuff from touching your exhaust manifold??? Have you have any problems?? If you did custom something can you please explain step by step to do so please. Do you cover your car when it rain??? How about driving in the rain?? Anything will happen to my manifold or yours??? How did you go about washing it also??? Thanks for your help.

Zeus actually. There is no heat shield for my headers or my turbo manifold soon. I have a question and an idea. Is there a way I can custom something to take in and out to cover the hood vent. Like when its rainin I put back the thing to cover the vent and when its very hot or its not rainin i remove taht thing. Just like a clip on and off thingy???? Anyone know how or any ideas??? Thanks really would I be fine???? What happen if a manifold crack?? And your drivin also??
