You should give that turbo back to joel so he can sell it to me! i had first dibs..

I would not go that rout because after the turbo is apart it needs to be re-ballanced

I'd personally run it, but your picky so I'd take it and get it rebuilt, I would never rebuilt it myself.

well you could mark the compressor and the turbine wheels and the put them back together the same exact way they were before. on a junkyard t3 (im assuming) it shouldnt matter.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is to my understanding that both the compressor wheel and the turbine wheel/shaft assemble are balanced separately. Therefore putting them back together in the same position is unesessary

Thanks for both of those links!

Yes this is not some junkyard turbo, but I know people rebuild turbos all the time.....figured after I run it if it needs a rebuild maybe I can do it then what take it in and get it ballanced...

sorry just trying to learn a little about turbo rebuilding lol

Balancing it is the expensive part, i can get it rebuild for around 250. 50 for new bearings and 200 for balancing.. you should just give me the ******* turbo since I had first dibs! first 400whp stock d-series..

go cry some where else it was Joels to do with what he wanted, ive helped him out and he helped me out. Besides he got offers of more than the $200 you offered for it. When im done with it it will most likely end up back with Joel......you can buy it then lol
