ra ver motorsports is a very well-known place in the central valley. I'll vouch for their good work.

I'd rather have my car street tuned than dyno tuned. A good tuner can get within 5-10 whp by tuning on the street. Then fine tuning the WOT on the dyno. I personally would prefer a street tune then a couple of pulls on the dyno to fine tune up top.

why , you run the risk of getting pulled over . and you said yourself you get more horsepower on the dyno . plus you get a sheet to see whats going on . how could anyone prefer to street tune.

I'm speaking from personal experiance. I had my car dyno tuned using a dyna-pack dyno (load bearing dyno). The car ran good except for a couple of minor hiccups that could be attributed to dyno tuning and no street tuning. When you street tune your able to hit all points of the fuel map.
All the dyno sheet tells you are numbers. When your getting street tuned, the tuner is logging you a/f, coolant temp., and timing maps. Just no dyno numbers. Like I said I had my car dyno tuned before by a reputable tuner who I would trust with my car again. After getting dyno tuned I took the car to the track and went 108 mph on two seperate ocassions. I then had my car street tuned. I hit the track again and my lowest mph at the same boost level was 111mph. I'll take the street tune. Street tune>dyno tune
