Default anti-lag

whats up all?
I'm putting my setup together and plan on 320-350whp. Is anti-lag out of the question? i plan on using this car more for strip than street. open downpipe and dump alittle past the drivetrain

The use of Anti-lag (I'm not including 2-step in this description), can be VERY dangerous for the use in the engine when used. 2-step is more than enough at a drag strip.

thank you, so anti-lag would be much better with a built bottom end? what about anti-lag set @ 7-8 psi when full boost would be @ 14-15? to much for a stock engine? B16

or do u think I'll be able to that with a 2 step?

Blythe?? LOL! I h8 that shitty little town. Worked at the power plant there for 4yrs, my dad still lives there.

What is your setup?? Anti-lag is a bit much for what you want. Two step should be just fine. 14-15psi at launch?? Dude, what kind of traction are you gonna get with that? Are you running slicks? What is your power level? Chances are, even gettin 7psi on a launch will be to much for reg street tires.

Cool, yea the two step is what you need. Set that up and you should be golden. I have a 95 coupe to you may have seen it around last summer (Im out in the San Bernardino area now), but I didn't take it around all that much as I know there are a shitload of haters and theives out there.

GL man.

PS - You will likely be hard pressed to get 300whp @ 7psi of boost. It will likely take you between 9-12 to get there (on a safe tune anyway).

Do you mean a 2 step? Anti-lag and 2 step are two different things. For a drag car all you really need is 2 step and some sort of full throttle shift control.

Now i'm going to use 2 step with full throttle shift (Crome)....thats why i asked if anti was out of the question....a waste.

I'm always reminded of the guy who tried it with a full exhaust (chaimbered muffler), and blew the muffler out.

For 3-350whp on a B16, all you need to learn is to launch it correctyly. If you use Crome Gold, you will get a decent form of anti-lag, not to mention gear-based boost control. ECtune has a better anti-lag, as well as boost control.

My coupe is a black ej1. And yes there are a shitload of haters, and a lot of thieves. Last year someone stole my STOCK ek. It did have si's and an si front end but thats about it. Morons. Still piecing that bitch back together.

ps - you shouldn't need 14psi of boost to hit 300whp on a 57 trim with a .63 a/r hotside. It should b a bit lower than that.

you got your car stolen in blythe? wow.
about the psi, i've got a lower comp. ratio than stock, but i'm also thinking of pushing alittle more than 300whp. maybe 325 or so. (.074" headgasket)

hondamn1320.....fts is a set redline inbetween shifts and uses the clutch pedal as an input. I've searched and still haven't found how it exactly operates, but it is used to keep the boost pressure up while inbetween shifts.
so say your redline is 8,200k..you'd probably want the fts set @6k or so.

No the car was stolen in the IE, and that was my stock ek. I wouldn't want my ej1 stolen.......I would be trackin ***** down.

I am using a .074" hg as well. Cometic? In my gsr it gives me ~9.5:1 cr.
