another turbo question
trying not to get flamed here. my girlfriend is the proud owner of 1995 gsr teg and she is wanting to turbocharge it. she is shooting for around 300whp i am kinda new to hondas i have been a domestic guy up until recently. i own a 240 with an sr and i love it turbos are awesome!
stock crank duh
crower rods
oem bearings
cp, arias, or je pistons 9:1 comp, not sure yet suggestions please
blockguard suggestions please on brand
cometic head gasket
arp headstuds cheap insurance
rebuilt head with crower turbo cams. valves, springs, retainers and such suggestions please
stock intake manifold
stock throttle body
log exhaust manifold to retain ac and power steering
small t3t4 external gate spec recommendations please
2.5 downpipe 2.5 exhaust maybe 3.0 inch. quiet as possible
intercooler to fit behind stock bumper 2.0 inch 2.25 intercooler piping
tial wastegate and hks blow off valve
fuel delivery i was thinking some 440's would be enough
would a safc be enough for fuel management if not suggestions please
I'm sure i am missing stuff feel free to fill in the gaps just trying to build a good reliable street car the right way the first time, to have fun in and suprise a few v8 owners that is the point right

not gonna flame but try doing some searches and see what you can come up with. There are many people with turbo gsr around that post around here. Blockguard = NO. Car is oubviously gonna be daily driver right? So your fuel/engine mangement is really gonna be the most important thing here so afc hack is no good, go with hondata or crome for management. Dunno just search, tired Its all about teh tuning man

300whp is cake for a gsr....
im not sure what that list you posted is about?
you dont need any of those parts to make 300whp...just a nice turbo kit and some good tunning will be hella fast and reliable.

so i don't need to tear into the motor to get the horsepower i want. AWESOME! thanks for the suggestions i will search around more and see what i can find i'm sure i will have more questions when i start putting the kit together.
