My turbo project is finally nearing compleation. After about 2 months of getting **** together, I finally picked up my car up yesterday. Man he did a sweet job on my manfiold and piping. All that needs to be done is hook up the O2, finishing painting the ic piping and get her tunned.
Dsm t25, custom manifold and piping, dsm blue tops, turbo xs bov, safc.

For being an Auto this thing pulls pretty damn good. I get full boost below 3 grand and then it levels of to like 6. It is a dsm t25 so the spring is set at 8. These reading come from my mech. boost gauge so i will figure out what the boost is on the safc. Not sre what kg/cm^2 is in psi. Iam also looking to get the manifold coated. Any suggestions?

it's not pretty, but if it's strong and the inside is all ported that manifold will work awesome. Next stop, function junction

Im not sure of the flow of a y7 manifold but you might want to look into using the y8 manifold since im pretty sure if out flows the y7 manifold..

8psi is ~0.562Kg/cm^2
heres a link for future references - http://www.unit-conversion.info/
but the safc boost readings are a bit off, not sure why. they always show a lil less than how much it really is (applies just for boost pres. readings).

Is that JB Weld on there?

Ghetto fabulous!
For the price I got that made, and the fact that I can keep my a\c, I think it turned out pretty damn good.
Also I am looking to pick up a spare y8 and build over the winter. For now I might just up the boost to around 10psi and go from there.

Looks like it was used to cover up any holes or blemished welds? I dunno? Either that, or remains of some heat wrap?
T-RO: It's a D16y7, that's how the intake manifold is designed, with the TB in the top middle.

not bad for a 1st turbo setup...but get a y8 intake manifold.
dam, thats ghetto
that y7 manifold is junk
go with a skunk2 or a ported y8 with a typr r tb
u will feel a increase in power
at least 5whp

You should definetly swap out the intake manifold, you'll gain a lot more power

I have a spare A6 lying around, hell even that would help out a bit. Interested?
I have a z6 manifold in my basement. Put it on to find out it was cracked. Will be upgrading to a built y8 so i am not to worried.
btw my boost is spiking to like 9 psi. Got a max reading on the safc of .64kg/cm^2. Is this bad?

Even with an automatic you still have to let off the gas sometime..

A BOV only works when it needs to. It does not add HP, it does not increase boost, etc etc. It just opens when the TB plate is closed to prevent a back surge into the compressor wheel. But yes, you have to let off the throttle sometimes!

It is rare but sometimes you come to a red light where there is alot of traffic on the other side and no way to run the light..
