First of all I want to say a HUGE thanks to ROCKET for all his help and P-PO for all their advice. I took my friend's hatch to the dyno , we only got 4 pulls today due to there was only 30 mins left before the dyno closed. I managed to get 397hp @ 23 psi , hope to be a member of the 400hp club very soon. I built and tuned this set-up for him and will be testing the car tomorrow at the track. The car weighed 2,480 w/driver and here are some things from his set-up :
log manifold
t3/t4 .63 trim
2 1/4" i/c piping
Edelbrock intake
3" dp
stock t/b
stock head
ROCKET cam
HUMBLE springs/retainers
1000cc injectors
111 race gas

It was not getting a good reading so it did not read torque. The turbo was custom built for a friend of mine and he let us use it , I can get the exact specs tomorrow for you.

Not bad at all. The locals are making a bit over 400 with b18's and pump gas, 57trims @ ~22psi.

My question about the cam though - is it a vtec cam, and how does it compair to stock or say a zex cam? Impressive considering the ports haven't been touched, and everyone claims d heads flow like cash at a siberian lemonade stand.

 

how high were u revving? That cam is impressive

 

My guy in Puerto Rico has picked up around 40hp with all his turbo set-ups with Rocket's cams , I have never personally tried the ZEX cam yet but I have one here just sitting in the box. It is a v-tec cam that we are using and we are reving it to 8,500 rpm's.
