i suppose if he used 26-28 slicks 10K rpms would be ok... hehe.. he's in SFWD anyhow..... cool!!!! perfect for 145-155mph with those high RPMS on a short geared tranny(b16/typeR).

yah, I don't know what slicks or gears the car is using, but if its set up right it can really benefit from those rpm's..

Goes to show what a very simple set up can do as long as it's done right and tuned perfect.

JE pistons, Crower rods, AEBS Sleeves. If the motor is assembled right, with good parts, there's nothing special needed to safely rev this high. OEM girdle, honda bearings, stock crank. Trust me, there's nothing spectacular with this motor except a good cylinder head.

Nice! That makes me feel pretty good. I have a similar set up as far as what he listed. I have the pt61 aka sc61/t4. I'm still wondering what it would make with the t4 version on this same setup. RLZ proves itself again. Brad is the ****, if you can get a hold of him.

Tony, what kind of fuel pump do you run in this car and Alan's? I think I may have maxed out my A1000, either that or I need to get more power to it. I never thought the pump would hold me back but the fuel pressure dropped off right at the top of my last dyno run. Just curious what some other high HP guys are running. Nice powerband yet again

This car has an A1000, there's no way you're maxing out that pump. You CAN NOT run that pump with the stock wiring, if you are, that's your problem. Rewire it with about 12ga wire and a seperate relay. Remember, when you run a bigger power wire, you must run a bigger ground wire as well.

Good stuff Tony.Damn it's tough to beat an sc61 for sfwd.I remember last year the James Innes/John Ferguson civic started out w/one in the beginning of the season.

- sfp race manifold
- titan61 turbo by innovative
- tial 46mm wastegate
- greddy 3 row intercooler core with custom 3" piping
- 3" dp
- motec m4 engine management
- 1000cc injectors
- ed's racing ported and polished head
- jun type II intake cam, itr exhaust cam (worked well in my all motor VX hatch and that is what we had laying around - seemed to work well)
- 85mm gsr block
- edelbrock intake mani with 68mm throttle body

Man sfwd's gonna be alota fun this year,I can't wait for the season to start.
