Another FMU question
I know fmu's are not reccomended and its better to run a base map and have it dynoed but, im just throwing together a junk yard turbo kit for my 95 accord (that wouldnt sell...) and i could care less if it will eventually blow my 200k mile old motor. So lets put all the fmu hating all aside..
I dont have the money or time to have my ecu chipped and flat bed it down to the city to have it dynoed. Im just wondering which ratio rrpfr i should use for now. I have a rebuilt t3-t4 i bought off my friend on a f23 block and h23 head with no aftermarket internals. Im shooting for about 5-7 lbs of boost. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Eric

x2 also i dont hate on fmu's there great for budget low boost set ups, ive had friends rock fmu's with 12psi for years with no problems
just make sure to upgrade your fuel pump FOR SURE.

Yea i have a friend who have a 03 caviler thats running 8lbs with a begi rrfpr. He's never had any problems. Im looking into a cheapy OBX one. Does any one have any experience with the? And are they adjustable for fine tuning or should i use a v-afc to help out with fine tuning?

I think anytime that the letters FMU are put up on this board, a hand should immediatly come out of the monitor and smack the **** out of the typer.
Its freaking 2007, FMUs weren't cool in 1999.

hater, i dont care what year it is, people still use the crappy *** jr roots blowers that came out like in the 1920's... its cheap its reliable, what more do you want, for a guy who wants 250whp or less its an excellent option imo... dont get me wrong, i am a firm believer in proper tuning for max power, thats why i have aem ems... but i dont expect everybody to run it.
and im pretty sure your not allowed to use large font in your sig... but thats on you.
