another compression thread...i searched.
ok..i'm the most paranoid person there is...and why i did turbo to make myself more stressed? i really dont know...
so anyway...i did a compression about 2 weeks ago..and it came out perfect. 210 across the board. so cool.
i took my car out for a 2 hour trip to go to a wedding. when i got home...a few of my friends wanted me to check out their cars w/ my compression tester...so ok..i did it for them...they came out to be 185 180 180 185...it was close right? so i made fun of them..saying..check out my car..200 across the board. so for shitz and giggles..i did my car again..however... it turned out to be 210 150 210 210. then they laughed at me cause i was so wrong. i poured a cap of oil in cyl # 2 and it came back up to 180. in embarrassment i drove home upset. my turbo wasn't installed for anymore than 1000 miles!
so i drive home which takes me about 20 minutes...and the paranoid bastard as i am...did another compression test in cyl #2 now this time... 210. wtf?
so i did all the cyl again and it came 210 across the board.
my question is this. is it cause of that cap of oil i poured in cyl two that kept it to 210? i thought after the 20 minute drive it woulda burned out or something. if that cap of oil isn't burned out yet...when is a good time to do another test? i was thinking of doing it again after work. i'm a paranoid bastard

Re: another compression thread...i searched. (toolowsol)
the first one was not driven warm...i just left the engine running for awhile..before i did it. the second one...i drove home...and it was definately warm. i thought if the car was cold..then none of the cyl woulda hit high numbers though. i dunno.
