Running sled:

Mock sled:

A company called LightingPro brought these to us so we can make all of the required "welded" parts for the kits they are making. Yay, we can pay the bills this winter!
I thought you all would be interested to see this, especially dustin and his shifter cart project

4 stroke, detuned R1 motor out of the crotch rockets.

One of the guys popped one at the end of last year, 24psi, said it about flipped straight over backwards...

its the only option for room. This one we actually had to move the steering assembly up around 1/4". Its ok, the rider is 6'3" so he didnt mind too much

honestly I cannot tell, there are no markings on the outside of the turbo(I havent had the running one off the sled yet). Its a standard Turbonetics Ray-Jay turbo, used in Airplanes. THey are VERY popular with applications dealing with carburation(suck through), and low oil pressure...ie, Sand Rails

How do you tune fuel on those things?

just like any carburator, as it sees only vaccum. Ive never tuned a carburator, so I couldnt tell you, lol!
The hard part for me would be timing, but Im pretty sure they are leaving timing alone(12:1 compression! )
The one in my shop has around 2k miles w/the turbo, and its still doing great.

I want to re-iterate that I didnt build the sled...LightingPro did. I WILL BE/AM building the manifolds, and anything that needs to be welded for them though
Its starting to sound like I built these, when I did not, just had to clarify!

Heres the finished version. Had to change a few things, and the FINAL version will be different yet.
