AMS FMIC ???
I just got an AMS intercooler that is built for a evo and I'm wondering if anyone has used a evo intercooler in their Honda or Acura? will their be any cutting? I'm unsure this will even fit but with the price I got it for I couldn't pass.
I have a 2000 GSR with a JDM front end
here is the AMS intercooler:
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution | Evo | 7 | 8 | 9 | Upgraded Front Mount Intercooler
Thanks for any help

It's a Very efficient core. Yes, you must cut the endtanks of in order to custom fit the core. There's no direct fit for anything. There are over 20 variations of exhaust manifold to work with any custom core.
Yes, it will work fine.. But you must custom fit it.. Period

See this discussion, as AMS, who uses Garrett Cores, makes the difference.

That's like asking how long will a car drive I'd you own it...It's fine until you get into a collision with something. :-)

My only point that I was trying to make is judging by the damage done to the first intercooler the second will be in the same "high risk zone" unless of course it was damaged prior to the OP installing it in his car.
