AMR500 on an s2000?
I keep seeing this refurbished roots blowers and I wanted to have a discussion with people smarter than me. I'm mostly sure these blowers don't have enough breath for an f20c and I think they're meant to max out at 4-6psi. On the compressor side, I'm curious how it would work out. Could you get the right pully ratio to have a decent powerband or would the size be too limiting? On the gearbox side, could it hold up to the abuse and could you somehow rig a proper oil cooler to the sealed system?
Most of the listings say it's compatible with 1.0-2.2l displacement but I think the volumetric efficiency of an f20c/f22c puts it out of this range with 500cc per revolution. Since this is a discussion I'm interested in all thoughts but what I'm mainly asking is what the results would be with it bolted to an s2000; in terms of power, how the gearing would hold up and any supporting mods that could help.
I haven't decided on a supercharger kit yet. It's between HKS, SOS or kraftwerks. Once I'm ready for it I wouldn't mind playing with an AMR500 first.

So a build in youtube with b16 its almost useless on high rpm the sc cant provide enough air, go with a bigger displacement i would recommend, i do have a sc14 on my car and so far im enjoying it 🤭😄
