i recently rebuilt my block (pistons&rods) dart sleeves swaped out turbos replaced my t3/t4 (ebay) with a turbo i bought from a freind wich is a cheapy t3t4 with garret gt35 internals but i have not yet tuned with my new setup i was tuned before at 10 psi am i risking my motor/turbo driving it around un-tuned?...yes im a noob

 

not a good idea....don't push it at all until you have it retuned.

 

ohh damm if i push it what are the consequences? ive pushed it a lil here and there not pass 4krpm tho it boost cut's me i just hope my turbo still fine and engine im retunning this tuesday=]

What this means to say is the answer is right there in front of you; if you're afraid of blowing it up if you push it here & there, then don't push it here & there. Consequences are a damaged engine from washed rings,damaged rotating assembly which could destroy the engine and the turbo, plain and simple. Don't get specific, because no one can know that. Just know that you need to NOT drive it and go to the tuner.

 

you know the consequences, the boost cut is to keep pedal happy children from not boosting on a basemap, hopefully it kicks in very early.
