Anyone else having th issue of there alternator belt flipping over on there car? I am making just under 700hp and everytime I get into high rpms the belt flips. is anyone else experiencing this and if so is there a fix. I have already put it on tight as it will go...anby suggestions?

 

are your pulleys aligned?

 

I had the same issue with my oem pulley get an ati or fluiddampner that sould solve your issue.

 

Yeah if your making 700whp you should be running a good damper anyhow. Pickup a street version ati or fluidamper

 

I had the same issue. I spent the money on an ati and my problem went away. I used to flip my alternator belt or break it every pass. I would take 3 belts with me to the track. There is no other way to fix it. I tried different alternator brackets and it didn't help.
