Default Almost done...

Well my goal was met over my spring break. I wanted to get all my suspension finished, get my brakes back together wire up my new electronic set-up for the interior and get the engine into the car. I installed a full energy suspension full polyurethane bushing set, which was a day project itself. I just got the engine/tranny installed tonight. The victorx manifold was a tight fit trying to lower the engine swap into the car, it kept hitting the fuel lines and brake lines on the firewall. All is well, I just have to get the shift linkages hooked up, drop the axles back into place, throw on the engine harness and install my full race kit. This engine is going to make over 400whp on pump gas, over 500whp on race gas. Make no mistake, I am going to hit 10's this season!

Here is the engine at my house on the engine stand. Its been on the stand for 5 months now, its was quite dusty when i rolled it outside!

Here's the engine swap about to get installed. My friend Ed is seen in the pic (Tsohc-tec).

Here's the engine installed. As you can see a few more things need to be added.

Here is a shot of the front suspension/brakes back together.

Installed an autometer guage pod, used to have the gauges mounted where the head unit used to be. Installed a pioneer unit in its place, and some door speakers.

Here is another shot of the engine.

Well that is all the pics that i snapped this afternoon/night. Around two more weeks and she'll be finished (only have saturdays to work on the car). Break the engine in for 3-4K miles, then head to the dyno. I guarentee its gonna be fast.

im sure itll be fast. it looks really good.

hey btw, might want to change those radius arm pivot points on the crossmember, it might help save the life of the bushings. i know you have a ton of other things to do tho

I didnt get a chance to throw on the stock wire harness while the engine was on the hoist, so that has to go on later. Hondata is the engine management.

The head is a b16a, full p&p from portflow, all ferrera valvetrain (springs, retainers, bronze valve guides, .5mm oversized valves), ef1.com m21 FI cam, victor x intake manifold, 70mm t-body and hondata intake manifold gasket.

The car is in a tight bay at our shop, I cant get any better pics than what i have. Here is the best i can do with a pic of the overall car. I'll have stuff in two-three weeks when the car is completely finished and running. I'd have it done sooner, but I have to wait for the huge area in front of the door to become less of a swamp. The car will surely get stuck. Anyway here is a pic of the exterior:
