How much are you looking to "squeeze"? (in shots)

Let me clearify something real quick here. I get that you want to leave the line with 50HP. Now after that are you wanting to spray 100HP more on top of that 50HP shot, then so on.

Or are you just "stacking" the spray. I.E: 50 HP off the line, then in second an additional 50HP (100HP total), then third and another 50HP (150HP total), then so on.

If oyu are "stacking" like that, then all you do is jet the system for the TOTAL amount of shot you want. Then get the progressive controller for it and set it up.

As far as the motor, it is essentially the same as a turbo motor block. Low compression with forged rods/pistons.

I agree! Good luck. Dont blow the motor off the line!

Build like a turbo block. More like 9:1. That is a big reason why the nitrous only set-us never really cought on back in the mid to late 90's. Because due to the fact that you would build them with low compression, daily driving was affected to where you did not have real good power on the street off the bottle. But on the bottle that was a different story. That is when the turbos really started to get big. Guys where just getting tired of spending all that money on refilling bottles all the time.

But every now and then I enjoy to see a nitrous car out there. Not to many of them left though.

Good luck.

The same thing that's wrong w/ high compression and Turbo..........Nothing! I believe the largest factor in people always going w/ low cr setup's is the window of error while tuning. High compression setups are more difficult to tune and there is a smaller window for error. I have had both and will not go back to a high compression + turbo setup anytime soon. Just my $.02

The difference is, IMO, that turbo setups the turbo's always there, so people are more inclined to drop off the compression so you can run more boost and power on pump gas. On a nitrous motor most of your time is spent off the jug, so you almost always run higher compression on it. IMHO build a nitrous motor like a modest street motor. I'd run 11.5:1 compression, along with suitable ring gaps and tolerances inside the motor.
