limited funds and you're considering a k swap?

do some research.....see how much 500whp turbo setup is going to cost vs a k swap

why 500? that way you will never hook on the street ? in a dc id shoot for 350whp . it should be really quick if you ask me . enough to take down a good bit of the population . and would be a good bit cheaper

If you're limited on funds, you're not gonna get a K-series...stick with boost.

Boost that thing. Check my Sig. 12's isn't bad with only 7 psi of boost.

why dont you just use the turbo kit you have and install it on your current gsr engine and just buy a bigger turbo if you have to, to get your 500 hp goal.

Its not about the powerplant, you can make numbers on any motor whether it be a d series, b series, k series, 350 small block, viper v10, dodges hemi etc...

BUT remember, just because its turbocharged doesnt mean its fast, you just need to find that area of power that its just enough so that you can control it for whatever situation your car will be in.
