All MOTOR or BOOST
I need ur opinion on new motor setup ive been running a stock gsr now for about a year and thought its time to step it up a bit.Im limited on funds and im obviously looking for huge horse power what do u guys think? stock k20a2 or doing a 500 hp bseries boost setup i already have a turbo kit ready to go. Also forgot to mention its going in a dc

basically if u got 5gs to put down on a motorsetup what would u end up doing? its gonna run about the same i already did the research

saving another $2k so i could finish the motor right.

why 500? that way you will never hook on the street ? in a dc id shoot for 350whp . it should be really quick if you ask me . enough to take down a good bit of the population . and would be a good bit cheaper

Boost that thing. Check my Sig. 12's isn't bad with only 7 psi of boost.

why dont you just use the turbo kit you have and install it on your current gsr engine and just buy a bigger turbo if you have to, to get your 500 hp goal.
Its not about the powerplant, you can make numbers on any motor whether it be a d series, b series, k series, 350 small block, viper v10, dodges hemi etc...
BUT remember, just because its turbocharged doesnt mean its fast, you just need to find that area of power that its just enough so that you can control it for whatever situation your car will be in.
