Just a 300hp CRX.

The driver missed 4th gear (yep we gave him hell) on this run. The car had run 97mph the first two runs.

That was a good sounding car, too bad the vid was nearly ruined by the gay music.

Those guys on street fire **** me off, did you read some of the comments that people posted on there about it? There is no shortage of ignorant people on there, that's for sure.

I'm in the process of trying to capture some in-car video at the track of my 11.19 @ 108 mph pass... I'll post it when it's done, if I can figure it out (videotape, not DV cam). I have a bunch of footage of me racing but it's mixed into longer videos.

That CRX above is frigging quick... must be hooking like hell, I do MUCH higher traps in the 1/8th at nearly the same ET.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNGHA8fDrsY I think this is one of my only 'just me' videos... pump gas 13 lbs boost.

Ya it wasn't his fault, he missed a shift on that run and he found out later he had a massive boost leak! So it probably had more like 400hp. Felt pretty good beating him at the time though, haha

Do you know what kind of tires he was running, and if he had a traction bar of some sort? I am wondering how my CRX will behave on the street after dyno day. Hopefully it doesn' do 4th gear burnouts lol

So it's looking like I'm going to need some freakin fat slicks and more like mid 400 whp range to hit 10's...

And just so I'm understanding right, if you hit 10's you have to have a NHRA lisence?

It was getting 1.7 to 1.8 60ft. He missed 4th gear on that run. It ran 97mph the first two runs.

I'm gonna do 26 x 7.5 (basically the widest I can fit on my rims...)

24.5x8.5x13 (M&H Racemaster on Lenso VPDs)

1.76 is my best 60' so far (pathetic) and 7.2 in the 1/8th at 106 mph. My 330' is 4.89.

You'll probably have to cut the fenders to fit 26's. I used some cheapo coilover sleeves to raise the front up for the slicks.

Oh yeah sorry, I mistyped. I'm going to use the 23x7.5x15 M&H Racemasters. I was thinking they were 26's for some reason...

Now here's another big question. Who of you uses stock axles? If not stock then what kind? I'm hoping preloading will allow me to use my stockers...

I'm on Fenco (stock replacement) axles. They're metal, not silly putty, be careful and you'll be fine Get some traction bars and don't wheelhop, that'll help.

I am on an LS trans also. No complaints here. With alot of power you will still bang through the lower gears.

464whp 301tq on pump here...
549whp 345tq on race.

you definately need bfg drag radials for the street. No doubt about it. i dont get traction until 4th, pulls like crazy on the freeway. Definately get a good wheel alignment... i have a big problem with the car going sideways, but the main cause is from not getting traction. I'd look into getting a corner balancing done as well. Pics of my setup here..

Yeah, at this point I'm going to get a set of BFG DR's for the street play and the M&H slicks for the track.

I will without a doubt have good alignment, I'm very **** about that... I've never heard of corner balancing... What is that? RHD huh? How's that working out for ya?

As far as the tranny discussion, I'm sticking with my y1 tranny LSD tranny... I'd get gear based boost settings before I went to different gearing...

Did you guys ever think about getting a gear-dependent boost controller, like an AVC-R or something? Just thought I'd throw that in there...
