Default Air to water intercooler

Is anyone running one??

If so how did you hook it up??

Is it better, worse, or no change??

Im going for that sleeper turbo look. Not sound as i know that a wastegate and blowoff valve will let anyone in an earshot hear me.

I did the all out sleeper look..

Got a little spearco air-water cooler... got a couple cooling cores for the front (looks like an oil cooler) .... custom built water tank in the wheel well of the trunk with pony pump....

It's got two 3/4" hoses runing through the cabin to the engine compartment... I can bypass the oil cooler (incase i wanna run ice) ...

The pump is connect to a pressure switch to activate upon 1 psi boost... and i have a little override switch in the cab...

Lots of fun... works great and it's quite hidden.... I got a Tial Blowoff also.. it's so huge that the noise it makes is far less then others that most people use...

Didn't do much of it myself.... no time...
The cost ends up a bit less .... but it's labor intensive.

I know Nick very well and he ran that on the drag radials? I really think his IC core is too small.

Bah, I ran 13.2 with a starion IC. Sorry, in his case the water to air isnt all worth it. In any case I dont think the water to air is any good for daily driven turbo'd cars. Who the hell wants to pull over and fill the tank with water and ice every day. Especially during the summer when that **** gets hot and stagnant. Although, its good for the sleeper effect......then again sleeper effect is only possible with closed dp and bov routed back into the intake IMO!!

Dan, I'm offended. I thought we were tight. I think my air/water intercooler will be fine on hot days especially with the giant cooler i got for the water. see here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=203852

Hehe, I said daily driver though. You have that big *** truck to get around in. Im sure it'll turn into a tow vehicle for your sleeper!

I plan to drive that every day. I hate driving my truck all the time.
