A little background on how my car sits right now:

195XXX KM's

T3/T4 T04E 50trim
450cc dsm injectors
p28 tuned w/ chrome (what i was told)
38mm wastegate (6psi spring)
small fmic w/ 2" piping
custom ramhorn manifold
stock exhaust

Handful of other mods, not really power related though.

So i did a compression test today, and got right around 210psi in cylinders 1,2,4. Problem is cylinder 3 was at 180. I put a little oil in the cylinder and repeated the test, and got 270psi. So it sounds like to me that the ring is bad.

So i'm looking at my options now, either rebuild the existing motor or grab a new block.

I purchased the car with the mods existing, so it's my turn to put my own taste of mods into it. I want to do things right, not cut any corners.

Will my motor be fine with just forged internals?

Do I need to sleeve it?

Is my turbo going to run out of steam before 400whp?

I'll be getting gsr cams, skunk2 IM, 3" turbo back exhaust, new IC w/ 2.5" piping. Is there anything else that will increase power that i need?

Any comments/tips/input would be great on how i should get to my goal.

So what motor are you using? A 50 trim would not be my turbo choice for 400whp. 450cc injectors are not going to get you there no matter what. Small intercooler doesn't sound good for 400whp. Do a leakdown test for better results on your engine.
