Default After market distributor

I saw one in a mag a couple weeks ago but I can't remember who makes it! My dist just took a major ****-a-ramba. The screw for the rotor button came out so now the igniter, cap, rotor button and dist bearing are TOAST. My extra one has a bad igniter also! I think the after market dist was almost the same price as an OEM Honda unit.

I am talking about a complete distributor and not just the cap! It had an upgraded coil and a better roller bearing! I guess I'll have to go buy the latest issue of stupid street..

I think some rice company makes them. I would not trust them at all... just get OEM

Dammit Dustin!.. *** monkey!..hehehehehe

Naaa.. It was a billet unit made by one of the BIG companies like MSD or TaylorVertex! The last thing I need is a flashy rice piece! **** Honda! This is my fourth major distributor problem in 6 months. Can't boost w/o spark! I wanted to get the Ultra 4 coil setup but it still uses the pickup from the stock dist (ie: you have to leave in in place), uses plug wires that places the coils too damn far away and it cost $1k. I'm gonna search a little more before going to visit the ripoff artist at Honda Primo Okinawa...

Thanx for the link but Matrix is what keeps the Riceboys belly's full!

Right now I'm debating...

New OEM dist and MSD SCI/MSD cap/blaster coil

or

Ultra MDI??

I'll probably get the OEM/MSD setup since the Ultra MDI doesn't have a built in rev limiter!!

nope! Post a link fool!

I don't like the long plug wires for the ultra because the coil packs and controller are mounted where the stock air box is supposed to sit! I'll bring the drawings for the caliper bracket and throttle bracket with me next week!

Please no flaming. I did not mean to **** you off. You see, I do not live in Japan, and have never been there, so I do not know how much 1 yen is worth. And it said no where in this post that $1 was worth 128 yen. But thanks for informing me in a very rude way.

MSN and Yahoo have search engines that will give you the daily monetary rates! The price was posted so the appropriate question should have been... Hey idiot! How much is 36700jpy in dollars? I would have replied with: Hey fool! 36700jpy is $286.72 @128yen$1! It really pisses me off when people ask a question that has already been answered!

Daily Yomiuri was found using Yahoo's search engine. The rate is actually 131 yen/$1 now!
