Default Afr reading correct??

Hey guys I'm running a 98 LS motor and Trans in my 98 Civic Coupe. I have a Garret T3 turbo, Trail 38mm waste gate, HKS bov, precision 440 injectors, B&M fuel pressure regulator. At idle my air fuel fluctuates depending on temp of car right away. Normal about 12 on start up then 14.4-14.6 when warm. When I'm under full boost at 8psi I'm at about 10-11 afr. I know this is real rich. Bad for the motor? I get a smell of gas or burning oil smell. Here's a pic of my spark plugs I pulled as well. <br >

Looks like a "safe" tune. Plug looks fine.

Looks old. Need to put new ones in there with little idle time, do a pull, shut it down, pull plug and report back.

Yeah it's on a safe tune at 8psi. I'll put in new plugs and get back. The guy I got the car from said a "rich tune"

if the afr is consistent at all rpms to what you described, it seems about perfect at idle and part throttle. at full boost yes that is a bit rich, possibly too rich. low 11's is safely rich. anything in 10's is borderline too rich to where the extra fuel could start stripping oil off the cyl walls.

the plug looks ok, besides appearing to be a little too hot, either from too much ignition, or the need to go one step colder in plug heat range.
