Default Can spark plug gap cause a "misfire?"

Every since I boosted my car it has had a misfiring sound at idle. This did not happen when the car was on the motor. I installed a set of new plugs and gapped them at around .030. The car idles like it is misfiring, but drives perfectly while driving normal, and under boost.

I removed the plugs after about 200 miles, cleaned them and regapped them, and the idle was smooth?! Could spark plug gap cause the car to idle like crap?

yes, but it sounds to me like you might be over fueling them at idle, what kind pf fuel management are you running

what temperature plug are u running. try gapping them a little closer. how do your ignition wires look? i had some magnecores and they were all beat up so i bought some brand new oem wires and that cured my missfire.

You dont need to gap them smaller if it's happening during idle. Are you using stock injectors right now?
