Hey guys... I just got my AFI bottom mount setup. After instalation I noticed that the turbo sits really low. Sits almost like a mini ram, half way past the oil pan. It looks almost impossible to fit the charge pipe without them hang hanging out past the bumper. Do the bottom mount setups require a backdoor intercooler?? I googled this and every image shows a backdoor intercooler
. Has anybody ever seen or used this setup with a conventional style type intercooler ?

These were primarily for a Backdoor intercooler setup for most chassis that the B-series will use due to where the compressor outlet faces. You can rotate the compressor housing downward to fit the conventional intercooler pipes, but it was designed mainly for backdoors.

i just had this problem with my twisted ram manifold and the soution i came up with was to use a 90deg coupler off the turbo to the conventional intercooler piping style like theshodan said. if you hit up brad from afi and send him some pictures am sure he can help you out
