as temporary fuel managment until i can buy a burner. I did it because it looked interesting and fun to build. Well I have 1 question, what color os teh 5 volt refrence signal wire? I am using a set of 450cc injectors. Whenever I try to run the car it goes into limp mode. it idles well in limp mode, even with the 450cc dsm injectors. No matter what wire i hook up "V out" to, it throws a code 3, am I doing somethign wrong? i tried acelerating in limp mode and it pulls strong until 4000, then its weak as hell. is this normal? It runs pig rich, and its much slower then when I had an fmu and was runnign only 5 psi.
Right now it goes to 9 psi but then after 5000rpm goes back down to 5.
WTF is going on?

 

For stable 5V use 7805.
You Vout should be in 3V range.... maybe a tad higher, depending on injector size and how much you boost.

Reason for behaviour of yr car is that you've went into limp mode....

 

what is 7805?
And I just fried my ecu, trying diferent map sensor wires. I have a brown, white/yellow and red wire. Which one does it go to? and does it go to map sensor, or back to ecu?
