The afc cuts fuel. It can't add more, that is why people use larger injectors with them. If you run -40% with stock injectors you will probably run lean and burn something up.

Re: afc hack help please (mos)
If you want to use your FMU, just use the VAFC to fine tune the fuel curve. You cant use the FMU with the hack, thats the entire point of it, you need bigger injectors and an upgraded intank fuel pump would be recomended. If you want to know what to set your settings at, refer to the search, this has been covered numerous times, I dont run the hack but i feel like an expert, the number of times it has been talked about. Only if people would talk this much about building maps for the EMS

how does getting new injectors and setting your afc to 40% do anything with the manifold pressure. its it 40% of the injectors will not be used do if you got 450cc then you would only use 60% of them. how does getting new injectors stop you from going into positive manifold pressure. what do you read pressure wise when you are at full boost right now i read -100 but at sea level i read positive something

Ummm you need to do the search thing buddy. There like dozens of pages on how and why the AFC hack works. Basically the AFC hack is used to get rid of the shitty, high pressure FMU set up and eliminate the need for check valves or missing links. It's smoothens boost transition and puts less strain on your fuel system. The only issues i know of are timing issues.
The AFC manages fuel delivery by altering the MAP signal to the computer.
