AFC Hack dont freak out!!!
I have searched and searched on this board to find out exact step by step instructions for how to insatall the afc hack. I know i need 440s and an SAF-C. I have an FMU right now and want to know everything i would need to do step by step on how to install this. Please help me guys i hate having this FMU it is so unreliable.

Install the injectors. Install the SAFC. Set the trim accordingly (-40% to start off). Throw the car on a dyno w/ a wideband and adjust the trim accordingly.
EDIT: Don't forget to back the timing a good 2-3 degrees base.

I am not going to flam you but on this very page there is a huge info thread entitled "afc hack" it tells you how to do this, STEP BY STEP. What is this fuel relay your talking about? Allso with the hack you dont need an inline pump, a good high volume intank will be just fine.

I wanna know if the relay goes with the FMU or does it stay?

yes Lose the ******* relay!!!!!!!!!!!! ALSO you will have to relocate the map sensor so it will see boost and vacuum. to do this take it off of the TB and move it somewhere and zip tie it. then add a vacuum line from the intake manifold to the map sensor nipple and plug the hole on the TB somehow some way. That is it

Yea I was just gonna say, if this is for a JRSC then you need to relocate the MAP sensor or you aren't going to fuel for boost, and that can be a problem!

sorry.... do u care to explan why the map sensor needs to be relocated to see boost? I thought it will see boost if left were it was unless I misunderstand how it works??
right now I'm running my JRSC with both the relay and the VAFC and only with an upgraded fuel pump and the map sensor left where it was in the stock location
