aeromotive quesiton
will the aeromotive fuel pressure regulator fit my 00 Si(R) stock fuel rail?
ive read and searched and i have this question.
why would i need to change my stock fpr to say the aeromotive(which is what i will use) when boosting? ive never gotten a clear answer.
thanks
should i replace my stock fuel rail????or will it be sufficient enough?
not boosting over 8psi for a while.

a week or two ago there was a very extensive post on this. If you can find it, I am pretty sure it will answer all your questions.

Re: aeromotive quesiton (SiRkid)
it wont directly fit on to your stock fuel rail. you'll have to take off the stock regulator and have that port on the rail tapped for pipe thread and find the appropriate AN adapter. From there you can run a line to the aeromotive.
From my understanding the stock regulator does not increase fuel pressure after it has reached 0 vacuum. While boosting the injectors must overcome manifold pressure, and since the regulator is not compenstating, you in turn get less fuel to your motor. The Aeromotive is supposed to be a true 1:1 boost referenced regulator + its adjustable.
