Default aeromotive = ssac

my brand new aeromotive fuel rail mount adjustable FPR wasnt adjusting. took the damn thing apart and the vacuum nipple was poking through hitting the spring and jamming it to the side. i paid a ton for this thing and cant believe i had to go through and fix this. so if you get one of these be sure to take it apart and grind the nipple down.

i think you should reconsider your words before you type them.

ssac and aeromotive are not even in the same boat...

i didnt crank down on it. and even if i backed it out so it wouldnt hit.. it would have been too loose and leaky.

It's not all their regulators, just the ones that mount on the fuel rail. It's a known problem. It happened to me when my "tuner" cranked it down, then proceeded to tune the car without trying to resolve the problem. Just call Aeromotive and they'll send you a new ground down fitting that won't touch the spring.
