Woee..Looks good. - I might be considering on purchasing one soon. Any idea on price? Or same? Good to have 5bolt. More the better. To prevent slippage? -
Looks good and seksi too! For the Bling and for the Go!

Looks alot better then their old design. The fact it has 5-bolts will definetly make me consider it more often on constumer's cars.

Re: AEM's new Cam Gear (redturbocivic)
I haven't had a problem with the 3-bolt slipping. It might be that I have a SOHC, I've only ever heard of the DOHC AEM gears slipping.
New gear looks pretty good though.

Re: AEM's new Cam Gear (94goldjungsr)
What you don't believe in camgears? Or the talk of cam gears is so 4 years ago??? hahaha, just breaking the ***** man....joking.
I run the Skunk2 cam gears, theres 6 bolts on them, I'm sure that they wont slip. But at the same time, I've always heard the AEMs slip but I've never persoanlly had that happen to any of the ones that I've installed...

They're pretty cool, but I'm going to buy them and only use three of the bolts just to prove a point. If three bolts are enough for Stephan's FWD H22A's, the AEM RWD C32A's, and the Bullish 2JZ's, I'm sure they're more than sufficient for my motor.

Re: AEM's new Cam Gear (Arturbo)
They went back to allen bolts? WTF?! This is the third revision I know of. The 3 bolt with actual 8mm's are working great on my car. No slippage.
